Merry Christmas everybody! Here are some pictures from our Christmas lesson today in Young Womens. A special thanks to Sister Hailes for bringing her bells and helping us play christmas songs with them it was a lot of fun. I hope you guys all enjoy your christmas. In all the excitement please don't forget the "reason for the season" I am truely grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Savior. I am equally grateful for his life and especially all he sacrificed so we can be with him again. This is an amazing time of year. Take a moment to truely count your blessings. I love all of you and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve you in Young Womens. Ya'll are the best.
Love, Sister Tiffany Nelson

************Night With Our Stars*********

Girls, Thank you for setting up your beautiful displays at our Night With Our Stars for our Night of Excellence. They were all fantastic. Each of you are a shining star and have many talents, thank you for sharing them with us. :) We rolled out the red carpet for you and your parents and hope that you all felt a little like the stars that you are. (We will update with photos once we get them.)

************Jam and Virtue

Last month Tiffany taught us how to can Peach Rasberry Jam, it was so yummy and delicious and we each got to take a bottle home with us. Thanks Tiffy for teaching us your SWEET skills.

We had a fun Personal Progress activity by Crystal on Virtue. We were challenged on how we would respond to real questions that we may be confronted with. Hopefully we are all more prepared now and won't have to stop and think how we will respond when in these situations. Thanks Crystal for your fun, spiritual, and creative Personal Progress activity.

Volleyball

The month of Sept. we played sand volleyball at the Middle School for Tues. night activities. It has been such a blast and our team Rocks!!! Special thanks to our leaders/cheerleaders for coming and supporting and especially Karen for coaching!

Return to Virtue!

During camp we gave each of the girls a 10x10 piece of white material. We told them to each draw on their square something that symbolized what they wanted from life, what their goals are, etc... This was very personal, therefore, we didn't share or make them explain. While they were doing other activities Darla and I (Tiff) attached them together with gold ribbon(representing Virtue). That evening at testimony meeting we presented the girls with their white "flag". We raised the flag up a pole and declared our return to virtue.

Girls Camp at Heber Valley

Girls camp this year was in Heber city @ Heber Valley Camp from July 6-July 10.

We appreciate all the hard work that Tiffany Nelson, our camp director, put into the planning and preparing for girls camp, it was a huge success. The theme this year was SURVIVOR (based on the popular tv series). We were divided into tribes, had immunity challenges, and Tribal Councils each evening. We slept in cabins in camp Rebecca, we were priveleged to be the very first ones in our camp, it was brand new. We enjoyed canoing on the lake, tye-dying and going through a challenge course which included a 40 ft. swing. Fun was had by all. We wish everyone could have come.
